Practice makes perfect, right? Well, that is what engagements photos are all about. Photographers often offer an engagement photo shoot with their packages for that reason. It is a time where you can become comfortable with your photographer during the photo shoot. When choosing a location for your engagement session start to think about those special locations in your lives. Think about that place where you can relax and just focus on one another throughout the photo shoot. Maybe where you went on your first date, a favorite hiking spot, where you exchanged your first kiss or maybe where you got engaged. Once you have picked the location start to envision what you will be wearing. Remember this is all about capturing you and your soon to be spouse so be yourself. Some couples may opt to dress up while others keep it casual. You can coordinate colors with your partner and add accessories such as a scarf or vest. Lastly, make it personal, bring a meaningful prop. Something unique to you whether it is a baseball cap, a favorite football jersey or your pet! Now where will you be striking a pose?
