Something blue on your wedding day comes from an old English rhyme naming good-luck objects.  The color blue stands for love, purity and fidelity – three key qualities for a solid marriage.

Here at the Rusty Rail, we’ve seen brides use creative ways to add blue in their wedding day – a blue sprig in their bouquet, a small cocktail ring and earrings.  Another favorite is blue shoes or a light blue manicure.  Or, you could always go the traditional route with a blue garter.  A little something blue means a lifetime of love!
