What is a hashtag and why use it.
Hashtag - noun. 
1. Is it used on social media websites; a word or phrase preceded by a hash mark (#), used within a message to identify a keyword or topic of interest and facilitate a search for it.

If you still do not understand what a hashtag is by that definition; here it is…. A hashtag is used for you to track photos or posts that are shared on social media. So why am I telling you about hashtags on a wedding blog? Because they are popular not only with tweens, big corporations and businesses but weddings too! You can create a hashtag to incorporate at your wedding for all your guests to use when posting on social media. There are many creative hashtags that you can make with your last names or the theme of your wedding. And yes, your guests will be on their phones during your wedding, so why not take advantage of it!!  After your wedding you can search your wedding #hashtag and find all the photos that your guests posted. I am going to warn you however, some may be embarrassing! Regardless, it is just additional memories that you have from your special day!!
